Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Compensation: $22$23 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Payroll Coordinator to join a fast-paced organization in the Miami area.

This position will support payroll processing, reporting, compliance, and the day-to-day administrative functions of a high-volume payroll department. The ideal candidate has recent payroll experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information accurately while meeting strict deadlines.

Training will be provided, but the selected candidate must be able to independently perform core payroll functions within approximately two months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
• Review payroll information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Assist with payroll reporting, recordkeeping, and administrative support.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee questions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Follow established payroll procedures and internal controls.
• Assist with compliance related to applicable federal and state payroll requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and outside organizations.
• Use Microsoft Excel to review, organize, calculate, and report payroll information.
• Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting payroll deadlines.
• Identify potential issues and use sound judgment to determine appropriate next steps.
• Support additional payroll and administrative projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of recent payroll experience, preferably within a mid-sized or large organization.
• Ability to speak, read, and write professionally in both English and Spanish .
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including: Excel, Word, Outlook,
• Ability to work with or quickly learn Excel functions such as: IF statements, Complex formulas, VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, Conditional formatting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong initiative and sound judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and payroll information.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish productive working relationships with employees, vendors, and internal departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of payroll experience.
• Experience supporting payroll for a mid-sized or large employee population.
• Experience processing weekly payroll.
• Working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and guidelines.
• ADP or comparable payroll-system experience.
• Experience using PowerPoint or Publisher.

This is a fully onsite position in Miami. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
