We support more than 1,000 properties across the East Coast, New England, and Florida, including commercial buildings, residential communities, transportation hubs, schools, and government facilities.Our Security Officers play an important role in maintaining safe, welcoming, and professionally managed environments for tenants, visitors, and building staff.Security Officer ResponsibilitiesMaintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendorsMonitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activityConduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the buildingMonitor surveillance cameras and building security systemsRespond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionallyMaintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reportsAssist with package handling and vendor deliveries when requiredMaintain control and documentation of building and concierge keysIdentify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violationsCoordinate with building management and property staff to support daily operationsEnforce building policies while maintaining a calm and professional demeanorMaintain clear communication during shift transitions to ensure operational continuitySecurity Officer QualificationsValid New York State Security Guard License8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate16-Hour On-the-Job Training CertificatePrior experience in residential security, corporate security, concierge security, or customer-facing security roles preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsProfessional appearance and polished demeanorAbility to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situationsAbility to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as requiredOur company participates in E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.We are an equal-opportunity employer.
