Accounting AssistantA global beauty and personal care company seeks an Accounting Assistant for a four-month hybrid contract in Los Angeles, California. This role supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on timePerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end and quarter-end close activitiesMaintain organized financial records and supporting documentationPrepare routine financial reports and data summaries for managementCoordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issuesRequirements1–3 years of accounting or finance support experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyAbility to work in a hybrid environment based in Los AngelesPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systemsBackground in consumer goods or retail industryAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldScreening QuestionsWhat accounting software platforms have you worked with?Are you comfortable with a hybrid work schedule in Los Angeles?Describe your experience with AP/AR and month-end close processes.
