Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough individual and couple assessments to identify patient concerns and develop treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Facilitating sessions with couples and families, focusing on communication strategies, conflict resolution, and healthy relational dynamics.
\n
• Administering therapeutic interventions for a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: \n

  • Alcohol abuse
  \n
  • Grief and loss
  \n
  • Family conflicts and dynamics
  \n
  • Adjustment challenges related to separation or divorce
  \n
  • Support for blended families and parenting coordination
  \n
  • Stress management related to jobs and health
  \n

• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient status and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, integrating additional support services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele including adults, children, and adolescents. Your role will involve working closely with various demographic groups, each presenting unique challenges and circumstances. Qualifications\n

• Current, active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy techniques, and best practices in behavioral health.
