2027 Intern - Engineering, Automation

Catalent

Summer 2027 internship supporting automation and operational technology projects at a biologics manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The intern will assist with system troubleshooting, maintenance, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives while working full-time for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Support automation and operational technology projects including troubleshooting and system maintenance
Collect, analyze, document, and maintain accurate data and records per company procedures
Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards while maintaining 5S workplace organization
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners in meetings and project discussions
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and present project progress or results

Requirements

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in Engineering or related field
Eligible to legally work in the United States
Familiarity with industrial or laboratory control systems
Ability to read electrical and instrumentation drawings
Capacity to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 12-week summer period
