Millers Cove Rd Walland, TN 37886The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Inspector is to inspect all cleaned rooms to make sure that the standards have been met. The Housekeeping Supervisor will use a checklist to evaluate if all items have been completed to these standards and remedy any incorrect items.Pay Range: $16.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Must be detail-oriented in all cleaning aspectsAttend line-up each morning to receive room assignmentsCommon areas – maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all common areasBring laundry to the service center for pick up by the laundry facilityRestock all housekeeping closets on the property with amenities and linens as necessaryClean and maintain Service Center, Operations Center, and other office areas, including bathrooms and break roomsGolf cart maintenance – make sure that carts are cleaned out at the end of the shift and plugged into the charger to be prepared for the next shiftNotify Maintenance and Design departments about room issues immediatelyTake lost and found items from the vacant room to the front desk and notify the manager when items are foundCheck rooms for final inspection after he/she has cleanedMake sure all items are stocked in that room and notify Front Desk when the room is ready for the arrivalComplete all room make-ups/ turnovers as assignedLoad stocker cart with daily supplies such as sheets, towels, toilet paper, amenities, plates, glasses, coffee cups, hangers, napkins, light bulbs, robes, etc.Assist in cleaning check-out and stay-over rooms as necessaryMust comply with all company policies and procedures.To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESGuide housekeepers to maintain 5-star standards for all roomsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalentSome experience with cleaning and understanding of standardsPrevious housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel environmentLANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to effectively communicate with other team members, guests, and managersMATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic knowledge and understanding of mathREASONING ABILITYMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goalsPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to be on feet for a long periodMust be able to lift cleaning supplies up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work with cleaning chemicalsMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cartMay occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr Blackberry Farm
