Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner. Pay: $28 - $35

Responsibilities

•  Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts •  Handle heavy workload of calls •  Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return  •  Manage workload and job scheduling •  Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork   •  Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs) •  Keep manager informed of customer feedback •  Communicate effectively and promptly •  Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team •  Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company •  When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups  •  Report team performance issues to the Supervisor

Qualifications

Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license •  High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required Preferred Qualifications: •  One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred •  One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred
