Theater Outsource is working with a well-established national supplier and manufacturer serving the entertainment industry to find a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. This position supports daily accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls. What You'll Do:

• Support daily accounting operations across general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Prepare account schedules and bank reconciliations for month-end close
• Reconcile supporting schedules to the financial statements
• Compile sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory reports
• Assist with external CPA reviews and lender field examinations
• Prepare monthly sales tax reports for review and filing
• Assist with monthly sales commission calculations
• Help maintain documented accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support the annual budgeting process
• Develop training materials and videos covering departmental procedures
• Provide backup accounting coverage when needed

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2–3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent hands-on accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, installation, rental, or a similar business environment preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Working knowledge of accounting software
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
• Exposure to cost accounting, construction accounting, or prevailing-wage projects is helpful
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Consistent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across departments
