Financial Data Analyst

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, this position assists in the day-to-day operations of the Financing Division and supports the Financing staff in creation of management reporting, data gathering and compiling information for financial data requests, documentation and record keeping related to Agency's ongoing financing programs, financial and risk analysis related to decision-making for the Agency's business units, internal or inter-agency coordination required to manage Agency's funding sources and investments.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Experience with presenting information orally or in writing
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint Tools)
• Organizational and time management skills
• Experience with analyzing data and reports
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Working Conditions


Hybrid telework schedules are available. The amount of telework is at CalHFA's discretion and is based on operational needs. IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE WILL BE REQUIRED WEEKLY .

Our office is in 500 Capitol Mall , a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). It is one block from Downtown Commons (DOCO), the Golden 1 Center, and many restaurants. Employees also have free access to the gym located in the building.

Candidates who are new to state service will be placed at the minimum of the salary range .

FINANCING DIVISION:
The Financing Division is responsible for ensuring the continued financial stability of the Agency.
