You'll start by supporting our team with day-to-day technical needs, hardware setup, and troubleshooting while receiving mentorship and training in networking, security, and server environments. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for team members experiencing technical issues. Troubleshoot software, hardware, and printer-related problems.
• Configure, image, and deploy laptops for new team members, ensuring all required software and settings are ready to go.
• Help maintain the internal IT hardware asset repository, ensuring precise logging of issued hardware, peripheral inventory levels, and recycled equipment.
• Assist with data security by managing BitLocker drive encryption and performing password resets.
• Help diagnose and resolve basic Wi-Fi and local network connectivity issues within the office.
• Assist with basic Google Workspace administration tasks, including user account provisioning, group management, and standard access permissions as directed by the IT Systems Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand your technical skills in Windows, Linux, networking, and server environments.

Requirements

What you bring to your new team

• A strong personal or academic interest in IT, computers, and networking. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates.
• Familiarity with the Windows operating system and common desktop applications.
• A friendly, patient attitude and a genuine desire to help others solve technical problems.
• Foundational knowledge or exposure to Google Workspace core applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and basic cloud-based user account troubleshooting.
• A self-starter who asks questions, enjoys learning new technologies, and adapts quickly.

How you add even MORE value

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with BitLocker, laptop imaging, or hardware deployment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed an IT-related degree, trade school program, or certification such as CompTIA A+.

This position has an expected salary range of $20.00-$25.00 per hour.

You will also be eligible for the XTIVIA employee bonus plan.
