Director, Biostatistics - Virology - Foster City, CA or Parsippany, NJ

Responsibilities
- Direct statistical leadership for virology clinical trials, developing designs and decision support
- Serve as statistical lead for virology molecule/indication in regulatory interactions with health authorities
- Collaborate with programming, clinical research, data management, and regulatory teams on statistical deliverables
- Oversee technical and operational statistical activities for multiple development programs through resource management
- Assemble and lead high-performing teams while managing career development and long-term staffing plans
Requirements
- PhD with 8+ years pharmaceutical industry experience, or Master's with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 12+ years
- Hands-on drug development experience including phase 1-3 trial design and NDA/BLA filing
- Statistical analysis of biomedical data using SAS and R software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills conveying complex concepts clearly
- Cross-functional collaboration and team leadership experience
- Proactive problem-solving with strategic thinking and holistic viewpoint
Compensation: Bay Area: $226,185–$292,710; Other US locations: $205,615–$266,090
