Key Responsibilities Execute detailed test plans for Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) games and applications. Identify, document, and track bugs, performance issues, and usability problems specific to VR/AR hardware (e.g., Oculus Quest, HTC Vive, HoloLens) and software. Test for motion sickness triggers, tracking accuracy, spatial awareness issues, and user comfort. Verify the functionality of controllers, haptic feedback, and environmental interactions. Analyze game performance, frame rates, and rendering quality in immersive environments. Provide detailed feedback on user interface design, intuitive controls, and overall immersion. Collaborate with VR/AR developers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Ensure compatibility and seamless operation across different VR/AR platforms and headsets. Stay abreast of advancements in VR/AR technology and testing methodologies. Document test results comprehensively, including reports on user experience and immersion factors. Requirements Proven experience in video game testing, with specific experience in VR/AR testing. Hands-on experience with major VR/AR hardware and development platforms. Strong understanding of 3D environments, spatial computing, and human-computer interaction in immersive contexts. Proficiency in bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and a systematic approach to reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly for complex technical issues. Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish. Passion for VR/AR technology and the future of immersive gaming. A degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related technical field is preferred. Willingness to wear VR/AR hardware for extended testing sessions.
