Retail Pharmacy Supervisor/ Manager – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily pharmacy operations and staff.

• Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Monitor operational and financial performance and prepare monthly reports.

• Oversee pharmacy purchasing and inventory management to ensure cost-effective medication availability.

• Manage pharmacy information and dispensing systems for accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide staff training, performance feedback, and professional development.

• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred .

• 5 years of professional pharmacy experience , including 2 years of management experience .

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

• Current, active, unrestricted Pharmacist license; Arizona license preferred .

• BLS certification required within the specified timeframe.

• PGY1 residency and immunization/vaccine administration experience preferred.
