The role emphasizes managing high-acuity and critically ill neonates, including those requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical practice. Job Details Position Description: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Level III providing high-acuity neonatal care, including infants needing therapeutic hypothermia/cooling, and managing advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support. Certifications and Qualifications: Active RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neontal Resuscitation Program (NRP) 4 years of NICU experience required. Experience Requirements: 4 years of experience caring for critically ill neonates; therapeutic cooling experience required; independent management of complex NICU patients preferred; previous travel experience is a plus. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities: Provide direct neonatal nursing care, monitor and manage invasive lines, administer medications, recognize neonatal deterioration, participate in neonatal resuscitation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Additional Information: Must be comfortable managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen; perform comprehensive assessments; maintain accurate documentation; support families emotionally throughout hospitalization.
