Recruiter

OBJECTIVEThe Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, coordinate the full cycle hiring process, and ensure a positive experience for all candidates. The Recruiter also supports HR initiatives, helps manage applicant tracking systems, and represents the company at events to promote employer brand awareness.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWork check-in for ASM events and assist with candidate engagement and event coordinationCollaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish recruiting strategiesSource and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals — with a focus on Indeed and LinkedInScreen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring teamsCoordinate and participate in both in-person and virtual interviews, providing best-practice guidance to managersManage and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate recordsPresent offers to candidates, negotiate employment terms when necessary, and guide them through the acceptance and onboarding processPartner with HR and department heads to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hiresMaintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future staffing needsTrack and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide regular reporting to managementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and adhere to best hiring practicesProvide English-to-Spanish translation support within the office as neededRepresent the company at job fairs, recruiting events, and community engagements to promote employer brand awarenessPOSITION REQUIREMENTSAssociate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferredExperience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms such as Indeed and LinkedInStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with social media recruiting and digital sourcing toolsHighly organized with strong attention to detailBilingual in English and Spanish preferredAbility to maintain professionalism and confidentialityData-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metricsPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
