The Capabilities & Data team in enables Business & Marketing Insights teams to build, scale, and distribute products faster through interoperable data, reusable AI capabilities, and modular platform services The C&D global product team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to support the evolution and expansion of the AI Foundations & Agents product suite. This is an individual contributor role for an experienced Product Manager, reporting into the Director of Product Management You will work hands-on with engineers, data scientists, and other product managers to design and build reusable AI capabilities, development environments and agent frameworks that can be leveraged across market-facing programs You will partner closely with business, partner product teams, compliance, governance, and security teams to shape the strategy, create demand, and grow the adoption of AI capabilities You will collaborate with our regional and frontline teams to accelerate growth of the business undefinedProduct Management in Business & Marketing Insights at MastercardTranslate a deep understanding of our customers into products and solutions that drive significant customer valueBalance the long-term direction of a product with today’s needs and constraints by fully understanding the technical, competitive, and commercial contexts of our productsAct as connectors to ensure the commercial success of our products by working with Sales and Marketing while ensuring technical success through close partnership with Technology teamsDrive globally-relevant solutions by understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and build scalable products that serve an array of customer segmentsSet product direction with coordination, not isolation - taking into account how our products all work together to serve customer needs Overview - Role The AI Foundations & Agent Platform team is building the reusable capabilities, frameworks, tools, governance models, and development environments that will power the next generation of AI-enabled products across Business & Marketing Insights.We are seeking a Product Manager to help shape and scale Mastercard's AI platform ecosystem, enabling product teams to rapidly build, deploy, and manage intelligent agents and AI-powered experiences. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, and business strategy.You will work with product teams across B&MI to identify common AI needs, translate them into platform capabilities, and drive adoption of reusable AI services that accelerate innovation while ensuring governance, scalability, and consistency. Key Responsibilities Build and scale the platform capabilities that make AI development faster and more effective across multiple product teams. Work at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and product strategy to create reusable agent frameworks, services, and development capabilities. Identify common AI needs across partner teams and translate them into scalable platform requirements and product investments. Support the C&D AI portfolio strategy by understanding current and future business, product, technology, and stakeholder needs. Define, socialize, and drive adoption of standards, templates, governance models, and best practices for building AI-powered solutions and agents. Serve as the voice of the customer by leveraging user feedback, product telemetry, and Voice of Customer programs to identify opportunities and prioritize enhancements. Define and monitor success metrics focused on adoption, business impact, product effectiveness, and outcomes across the AI portfolio. Establish and drive product management disciplines across the product lifecycle, including roadmap management, prioritization, experimentation, Agile delivery, and product readiness. Champion a user-centric and data-driven culture through Design Thinking, test-and-learn principles, and continuous product improvement. Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Compliance, Security, and Legal teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality AI solutions. Make thoughtful tradeoff decisions balancing customer value, technical feasibility, risk, scalability, and time-to-market considerations. Build strong relationships across regions, functions, and stakeholder groups to drive alignment, influence decisions, and accelerate adoption. Foster operational excellence through documentation, knowledge management, repeatable processes, and scalable ways of working. All About You Required6+ years of Product Management experience in AI, analytics, data, platform, or technology products. Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts including: LLMs, AI Agents, Agent Orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Evaluation & Testing, AI Governance & Controls Experience partnering with Engineering and Data Science teams to deliver production-grade solutions. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to influence across teams without direct authority. Experience working in Agile product environments. Comfortable with coding and working with large data assetsPreferredExperience building internal platforms, developer products, APIs, or reusable services. Experience with AI development ecosystems and agent frameworks. Familiarity with experimentation, model evaluation, and responsible AI practices. Experience working across global organizations and multiple stakeholder groups. Knowledge of payments, analytics, consulting, or data products. Success in This Role After 12 months, this individual will have:Helped expand adoption of AI Foundations capabilities across multiple BMI products. Defined and scaled reusable frameworks that reduce duplication of AI development effort. Enabled product teams to launch AI-powered experiences faster through shared platform services. Contributed to a consistent approach for agent development, governance, and deployment across BMI. Established measurable platform adoption and business impact metrics.
