Work Environment

This LCSW position offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a work-life balance that accommodates your schedule. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including medical professionals, therapists, and support staff dedicated to guiding clients through the detoxification process. You will utilize telehealth and electronic health record systems to manage your caseload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use history, creating detailed, personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, and motivational interviewing, to foster positive behavioral change.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation is completed timely and supports clinical decision-making.
• Engage in regular collaboration with the treatment team to discuss client progresses, challenges, and adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay current with emerging research in social work practices, participating in continuous education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our detox center specializes in serving individuals facing substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. As an LCSW, you will work with a diverse population, including clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our goal is to provide tailored support that respects and recognizes the unique experiences of each individual.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients quickly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly preferred.
• A background in providing trauma-informed care and deep understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance use and mental health disorders.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems available to clients post-treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

Snowline Counseling Services offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with additional bonuses based on performance.
