About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to establish and lead the financial function that will support its growth from a Series A startup to a leading hardware, software, and AI enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, internal controls, and corporate development. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in operational finance at a hardware company with recurring revenue, particularly in the areas of product cost accounting, and a proven track record of building and scaling finance functions. The VP of Finance will be a key partner to the CEO and the founding team, providing the financial acumen necessary to guide the company's growth, including potential acquisitions and other inorganic opportunities. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior role at a hardware company with recurring revenue. The role requires a deep understanding of hardware product finance, recurring revenue business models, and hands-on experience with modern ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a corporate development instinct, experience in M&A, and a strong analytical skill set. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a CPA or MBA is a plus.
