Job Description

The role involves creating detailed work instructions for assembly and packaging lines, analyzing production data, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. The position requires the development of setup sheets, work instructions, and machining procedures to optimize workflow.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain work instructions for assembly and packaging lines.
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, scrap, and downtime.
• Develop setup sheets, work instructions, and machining procedures.
• Analyze workflow and recommend layout and process improvements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in creating work instructions.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to manage a project from start to finish.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in fixture design is a plus.
• Experience in assembly and packaging.

Work Environment

The role demands a proactive approach in a dynamic manufacturing setting where Lean Manufacturing principles are applied. The candidate will engage with advanced technologies and equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of assembly and packaging lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belvidere, IL.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
