Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse to join our Adult Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for an acute population and be well-versed in emergency care protocols. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients and collaborating with a skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an adult emergency setting.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Manage airway and respiratory procedures such as oxygen administration and intubation support.
• Perform nursing assessments, including trauma assessments and neurological checks.
• Participate in trauma resuscitation and critical care protocols, including massive transfusions and STEMI alerts.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care in Meditech EMR.
• Coordinate transfers and educate patients on care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Texas
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH certifications required
• Experience in an emergency or trauma setting preferred
• Expertise with Meditech EMR
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
