The facility is designed specifically for pediatric care. It offers a wide range of pediatric services and specialties. The focus is on family-centered care. Patients in this unit require immediate medical attention. Team collaboration is essential for providing quality care. The unit accommodates a high volume of patients, especially during busy seasons. Nurses in this role will float as needed to assist in various areas. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 3:1. Nurses will need to perform essential procedures, including IVs and medication reconciliation. Documentation is completed using a specified electronic health record system. The dress code includes navy scrubs with specific guidelines for undergarments and accessories. Preference will be given to candidates with leadership experience or prior educational roles. Professionalism and teamwork are critical to the unit culture. Ideal candidates are hardworking and self-motivated.
