GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.The Accounting Director will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls for a our client, a growing manufacturing company in Gwinnett County.This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability, improve processes, and ensure financial accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and fixed assetsOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesPrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuationPartner with operations to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiency metricsDevelop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial modelsEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulationsCoordinate audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditorsDrive process improvements and ERP system optimizationSupervise and mentor accounting staffQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment$130,000 - $150,000 a year
