What We Offer: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Career Advancement Opportunities Supportive and Safety-Focused Work Environment Stable, Growing Organization Key Responsibilities of a Safety & Compliance Manager: Safety Program Management Lead and support company-wide safety initiatives and programs Promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, and risk prevention Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and best practices Conduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and transportation industry regulations Maintain compliance records, documentation, and reporting requirements Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits Stay informed of regulatory changes and implement necessary updates Develop and enforce company policies that support compliance objectives Driver Qualification & Investigation Management Oversee driver qualification files, licensing requirements, background checks, and drug and alcohol testing programs Support onboarding and ongoing compliance verification processes Investigate accidents, incidents, claims, and safety-related concerns Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative action plans Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for leadership review Training & Operational Support Coordinate safety meetings, training sessions, and compliance education programs Partner with operations and management teams to ensure consistent safety practices Provide guidance on safety regulations, company policies, and compliance requirements Serve as a resource for employees, drivers, and leadership regarding safety-related matters Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and reduce risk What We're Looking For: Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices Experience managing safety programs, audits, investigations, and corrective actions Excellent organizational and documentation skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance reporting systems Experience in transportation, fleet operations, safety management, regulatory compliance, or a related field preferred Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement Why Join zTrip?
