Application Delivery Systems Analyst

Job Description Summary The Application Delivery Lead is responsible for solution and implementation activities as assigned for the Ryder Transportation Management (TM) technology portfolio. Major activities include customer facing, solution documentation, solution estimation, solution design, solution configuration, problem solving and solution implementation. This position will be required to work closely with business partners and extended technology team to deliver competitive and quality distribution management solutions. Essential Functions Solving business needs into requirements and project estimates, enabling competitive and quality technology solutions, managing solution documentation, configuration, modification design, test, and delivery, designing, developing, testing and deploying complex SQL queries, driving innovation and creative solutions, handling customer or technology change requests, planning and supporting test. Collaborating with business partners, external customers, and IT functional teams to contribute to the product roadmap, refining domain expertise through project experience, industry publications, events, and self-learning, maintaining detailed knowledge of the Ryder Transportation Management platform and technology offerings. Representing Ryder technology as the TM product subject‑matter expert in new/existing customer presentations and events, performing product demonstrations and solution training, communicating product capability and project status with customers. Administrative duties such as weekly status report on assigned activities and accurate timesheet and project reporting. Additional Responsibilities Continuous improvement and internal innovation. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Well‑rounded knowledge of distribution/3PL industry to facilitate requirements discussion and troubleshoot efforts. Strong documentation skills related to business requirements, functional design, and solution configuration. Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build long‑lasting internal and external relationships. Ability to conceptualize how systems must be configured to solve business problems. Problem‑solving skills to solve complex supply chain challenges in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions (preferred). Ability to work with others to obtain results. Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Maintains a high degree of professionalism. Leadership competencies: Organizational Agility, Intellectual Horsepower, Dealing with Ambiguity, Integrity & Trust (preferred). SQL experience. Results‑driven. Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience with Visio: Data visualization and building diagrams/flow charts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in distribution management, supply chain, information systems, information technology, or business. Five years or more in distribution/supply chain management experience; experience in a 3PL/4PL environment is preferred. Five years or more in information technology and supply chain management systems. Five years or more in supply chain technology projects and implementation of supply chain technology solutions. Five years or more in using, configuring, or implementing industry‑recognized distribution management solutions. Five years or more designing/coding custom user/system interfaces via C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell programming languages. Compensation Information Salary is salaried with pay range of $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 depending on experience, education and other factors. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan.
