Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: Prefer certification as a surgical technologist Must-Have: Experience as an Orthopedic Surgical Tech Description: Ambulatory surgery center specializing in orthopedic surgery. Five bay pre-op and five bay PACU area. Three operating rooms. Four full-time Certified Surgical Technologists. Typical hiring profile includes candidates without required skills not being considered for the role. Typical procedures performed include sports medicine arthroscopy, ACL repair, partial and total joint replacement, and hand and foot surgeries. Ideal candidates are self-directed and able to adapt to changing assignments with ease. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Wardrobe must adhere to AORN guidelines. Position is Monday through Friday during 10-hour shifts. No call, no nights, and no weekends are required.
