Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its State & Local Tax practice group in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients on state and local tax matters, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment. Duties Represent clients in state and local tax litigation and appellate matters. Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents. Engage in client interactions and provide legal advice. Requirements 2-3 years of law firm experience in litigation. Experience with a range of litigation matters. Clerkship experience preferred. Excellent writing, advocacy, and analytical skills. Strong academic record and communication abilities. Client-service mindset and ability to handle responsibilities independently. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Bar admission in Georgia or eligibility to waive in. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self‑motivated with a strong interest in litigation and appellate work.
