Senior HRIS Analyst Join a forward-thinking organization as a Senior HRIS Analyst, where your deep expertise in Workday will drive transformational HR technology solutions that elevate employee experience and operational excellence. In this strategic role, you'll collaborate closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to shape, optimize, and support complex HR systems that align with enterprise goals and compliance standards. Your analytical mindset and clear communication will be critical as you translate business needs into innovative Workday configurations and enhancements, ensuring seamless data integrity and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert in Workday HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, and Security. Lead system configuration, process optimization, and support new feature rollouts. Manage and maintain data integrity through audits, reports, and dashboards. Collaborate on enterprise initiatives, including module implementations and business process redesigns. Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and support ongoing maintenance. Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions that promote efficiency and compliance. Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. In-depth knowledge of HR processes and Workday modules. Proven experience supporting or leading Workday implementations or upgrades. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop scalable solutions. Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical teams and business stakeholders. Familiarity with HR data privacy, security, and regulations such as SOX and GDPR. Nice to Have Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related fields. Experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries. Support or knowledge of global HR operations. Advanced Workday reporting skills, including creating custom reports and dashboards. Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. Over 5 years of dedicated Workday experience, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Other Requirements: This position is onsite in Redwood City, CA. W2 employment only; no C2C arrangements. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving priorities.
