Job Opening: Part-Time Teller Join our team at Greenville Federal Credit Union as a part-time Teller and be at the forefront of providing excellent service to our valued members. As a Teller at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you will be essential in handling member transactions and requests with efficiency and professionalism. By cross-selling products and services tailored to our members' financial needs, you will have a direct impact on their financial well-being. A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday from 12 pm to 5 pm and Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm, approximately 29 hours per week with flexibility. Your daily tasks will include performing various routine transactions not limited to processing deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accurate balancing procedures, staying informed on credit union updates, and addressing member inquiries promptly. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can continuously learn and grow in the financial services industry. WHAT MATTERS MOST To excel as a Teller at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you will need to possess a diverse set of skills and qualities. This role requires a minimum education level of a high school diploma or GED, along with strong verbal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with members and cross-sell products and services with confidence. Requires up to one year of sales experience in a retail or customer service environment, along with self-motivation to effectively communicate the benefits of our products and services. Intermediate mathematical skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to interpret various instructions are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you must demonstrate creativity, independence, and a sense of responsibility in your work. Your commitment to maintaining confidentiality, multitasking effectively, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment will be crucial for your success.
