Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $22.13 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and high‑traffic areas to help deter unauthorized entry, support visitor and staff directions, and document incidents according to site procedures. Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, hazards, medical situations, and other security‑related matters. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Must be able to receive required hospital vaccines. Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security‑related experience. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Must have at least 5 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
