Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures, with Epic and Philips single-plane equipment experience required.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab setting covering invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular modalities
• Procedures include stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Philips single-plane equipment experience required; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: once every fifth week
• On-call requirement: 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
• Holiday coverage required
• No float requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
• Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Active BLS required
• Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification)
• Proficiency with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Philips single-plane equipment experience required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former permanent employees of any facility in this health system must have a separation of at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
