Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab travel assignment in Louisiana.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirement once every fifth week
• Call requirement of approximately 5–8 shifts depending on staffing levels
• Holiday coverage is required
• No float requirement
• Epic EMR experience required
• Phillips single-plane equipment experience required
• Siemens and bi-plane equipment experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
• Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Active BLS required
• Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days of fee payment and proof of ARRT certification)
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with Phillips single-plane equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Any gaps in work history of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a local rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have a separation of at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
