Legal Assistant – Trust & Estate Planning DTLA | Full-Time | On-Site Only | $75,000-$95,000 DOE One of the most established law firms in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its Trust & Estate Planning group. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting a highly respected attorney in estate planning and post-death trust administration. If you’re detail-oriented, client-focused, and ready to grow in a collaborative legal environment, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Do Draft and revise estate plans, probate forms, and trust administration documents Record deeds, file court documents, and manage client communications Assist attorneys with case preparation, calendaring, and document formatting Notarize and execute documents with clients Maintain organized files and support general administrative tasks Communicate with court officials and opposing counsel as needed What Our Client is Looking For Minimum 4 years of legal administrative experience in estate planning or trust administration Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with Probate Court filings and Judicial Council Forms Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and legal databases (ProLaw preferred) Notary Public certification required Legal secretary certification preferred but not required Salary range: $75,000-$95,000 , commensurate with experience Health insurance included in standard benefits package Retirement plans with employer and employee contributions No billable hour requirement Location & Work Policy This is a hybrid role based in DTLA.
