Its culture is collegial, client-first, and built around teamwork rather than internal competition.About the RoleThe Senior Business Development Manager owns strategy and execution for three high-growth practice groups: leveraged finance, real estate finance, and restructuring. You will partner directly with practice leadership and the New York office managing partner, lead a dedicated team of marketing professionals, and drive pitches, client targeting, competitive intelligence, lateral integration, and market positioning at the industry's key events. This is a build-and-lead seat with high visibility to firm leadership and a clear growth mandate.What You'll Bring10+ years of marketing or business development experienceLaw firm or professional services client experience (required)Direct support of finance, restructuring, bankruptcy, or real estate practice groups18+ months at client manager level or above, with people management experienceCommand of the full client toolkit: pitches, RFPs, client targeting, competitive intelligence, directory submissionsExcellent writing and proofreading; credibility and presence with senior attorneysBachelor's degree required; MBA a plusCRM fluency (InterAction or similar) a plusDetailsFull-time, exempt. Onsite four days per week in New York, Dallas, or Charlotte.Base salary $215,000–$240,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
