Optomi, in partnership with a prominent company in the Energy/Utilities industry, is seeking a BizTalk expert ready to take on a high-impact role. This is your opportunity to join a dynamic Agile team working on enterprise-critical integrations and modernization efforts. You'll play a key role in ensuring reliability, maintaining high availability, and driving improvements across complex systems that support essential business functions.

About the Position:

We're looking for someone who thrives in a support-heavy, problem-solving environment—someone who can dive into complex integrations, diagnose issues quickly, and ensure operational continuity. This role offers a blend of hands-on development, application support, and process improvement. You’ll be expected to engage with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support evolving business needs.

You'll work closely with developers, product teams, and leadership to keep systems optimized, respond to changes in real time, and ensure thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.

Tech Stack / Environment:

• BizTalk with .NET Framework
• C# for custom development within BizTalk
• SQL Server
• PowerShell (used for diagnostics and support)
• CI/CD tools: TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
• Source control: GitHub
• Agile/Scrum methodology with daily standups and iterative development

Must-Have Experience:

• 5+ years of BizTalk development/support experience
• Strong skills in C#/.NET and object-oriented programming
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and database-driven integrations
• Basic experience with PowerShell for troubleshooting
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, or similar tools
• Experience writing and maintaining clear technical documentation
• Comfortable in an Agile team with daily standups, sprint planning, and shifting priorities

Nice-to-Have:

• Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation
• Familiarity with GitHub Pull Requests and code review workflows
