With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a key role in elementary-level ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classrooms, partnering with staff and families to foster student growth and achievement.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Colorado SPED Generalist license required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in K-5 settings preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for students with ASD and diverse needs
• Comfortable implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Commitment to providing inclusive and engaging instruction

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and support students in elementary ASD centers, adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with related service providers and families
• Employ evidence-based strategies for behavior and classroom management
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth
• Participate in meetings, ongoing training, and professional development
