Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Facility Checks in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:30 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:30 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:30 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the healthcare community while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed. Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs. Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
