General Counsel Attorney - In-House (New York)

Compensation: 200000.-275000. / Annually
Our client, one of the largest, most prestigious law firms in the United States, has an immediate need for an experienced, General Counsel Attorney , to join our winning team in New York.
Our candidate of choice will bring at least three years prior experience as in-house general counsel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Researching and analyzing ethical rules and related legal questions
- Reviewing and editing agreements with clients and third parties
- Drafting and enforcing Firm policy and protocol
- Assessing and advising on client and business conflicts
- Responding to discovery requests
- Assisting with potential claims and litigation
- Assisting in creating trainings and delivering presentations
- Ideal candidate would be familiar with ethics rules and be willing to take on a variety of tasks with significant responsibility and have excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills.
- Candidates must have a high level of academic achievement from an accredited law school and be admitted to the NY Bar.
