Audit Staff

Responsibilities Kforce's client, a well-established public accounting firm, is seeking an Audit Staff professional to join its growing team. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries and strong opportunities for professional growth. The client offers salary and health benefits, vision, dental and other company perks. This position will function as hybrid in Quincy, MA. Prepare audit confirmations, track responses, and follow up as needed Execute audit procedures in accordance with engagement plans and firm standards Test transactions and perform detailed sampling across audit areas Maintain audit documentation, including workpapers, checklists, and audit programs Perform analytical reviews and investigate variances Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and management comments Communicate audit progress and elevate issues to senior team members Build strong client relationships and support engagement teams Requirements CPA certification or active license, or working on certification 2+ years of audit experience with a public accounting firm Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset Pay & Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
