Production Operator

Supermicro is looking for a Production Operator to perform material quality control and PCBA products testing. The material includes server system components/electronic parts such as cable accessories, heatsinks, HDDs and various PCBA products such as server motherboard, memory, AOC card, Backplanes. The candidate is able to perform visual inspection and PCBA testing. Follow supervisor/engineer's instruction, standard operation procedure to do the jobs, and meet the daily demand and shipment due date. Follow company policy and ISO system to maintain good and safety work environments.

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Server system components (such as parts, accessories, cable assembly, HDDs, Heatsink) and PCBA (Motherboard, Memory, AOC card, Backplanes) Incoming Quality Control
• Perform visual inspection, measurement and function test
• Execute engineering change orders (ECO) and model change tasks as required.
• Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed material / PCBA
• Prepare daily test report
• Adhere company policies, safety protocols, standard operating procedures to maintain good and safe work environment
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
• Able to work overtime per business need

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or some college experience preferred
• 1 - 3 year's work experience in production/manufacturing industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of electronic parts and computer hardware knowledge a plus
• Read and understand the simple schematics and mechanical drawing is a plus
• Use of tools / instrument (e.g. DVM, microscope, vernier meter, scale, and gauge) is a plus
• Basic written and oral English

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

• Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items.
• Perform tasks that require standing and walking for long periods up to entire shift.
• Lift, carry, push and pull in an excess of 25lb and up to 40lbs. Able to utilize a buddy system for moving objects more than 50 lbs.
• (For applicable positions: Must be able to operate pallet jack and forklift efficiently and safely.)
• Must be able to wear safety shoes, earmuffs or other required PPE as needed.
• Primarily works indoors with controlled climate conditions.

Salary Range: $23 - $24 plus 10% SD for Swing shift

This is temp-to-hire job position

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
