Amazon Operations Manager

Job Overview

The Operations Manager oversees teams and operational functions within a fulfillment, warehouse, transportation, delivery, or logistics environment.

The role is responsible for helping ensure that operations meet safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and customer-service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational teams and frontline leaders.
  • Oversee daily workflows and operational priorities.
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and service performance.
  • Analyze operating metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate staffing and resource requirements.
  • Develop and coach managers and team members.
  • Implement operational procedures and process improvements.
  • Work across departments to resolve workflow problems.
  • Support capacity and operational planning.
  • Escalate significant operational, personnel, or safety issues.
  • Help ensure facility standards and procedures are followed.
