ANCA CNC Tool & Cutter Grinding Specialist

Picture your shift beginning at our Warsaw, IN facility—on 2nd or 3rd shift—where precision, rhythm, and craftsmanship meet. You review the day’s travelers, load an ANCA program, confirm wheel packs, and bring a blueprint to life with microns to spare.

You’ll set up and operate ANCA CNC grinding machines to manufacture components that match blueprint specifications and work instructions. You’ll dial in G and M codes, establish offsets, and monitor tool wear to keep every part within tolerance. First-article and in-process checks are second nature—calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and an optical comparator are your constant companions as you sample to AQL and document results.

• Program, set up, and run CNC ANCA grinders following established procedures and guidelines
• Interpret prints and operation sheets to determine sequence and methods
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and a comparator in accordance with AQL and work instructions
• Troubleshoot and correct dimensional issues; review and approve setups completed by other operators
• Track good and scrap counts accurately; complete production paperwork and enter data into the company database/ERP
• Comply with all policies and procedures; perform all other duties as assigned

• A fast learner eager to deepen expertise in manufacturing processes
• Reliable and team-focused—collaborative, positive, and communicative (written and verbal)
• Comfortable coordinating work across teams to get the job done

• Proficiency reading/using calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, and height gauges
• Ability to read blueprints and operation sheets; strong grasp of GD&T
• Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code
• Solid computer aptitude
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk eight-plus hours per day
• Overtime flexibility (daily/weekly as needed)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
