Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication development in a dynamic school setting. Onsite and full-time, this position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. You'll make a meaningful difference every day by delivering speech-language services tailored to a pediatric population.
You'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote each student's growth. Your expertise will empower students to access their education, participate fully, and gain vital communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience—or strong clinical placements—with pediatric or school-age populations
- Proficiency in developing IEPs and implementing appropriate interventions
- Comfort working collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to students on caseload
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain timely records, progress notes, and documentation
- Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student progress
- Provide consultative support to school staff
- Support students in both individual and group settings
