CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will support operations by machining parts related to gear and power transmission manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

* Set up, program, and operate Shibaura (Toshiba) VTL, Fermat HBM, ProtoTrak VMC/knee mills/lathes, and Johnford CNC lathes with active tooling

* Program Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, and Trak KMX/SLX controls

* Identify and implement improvements in CNC programming, manufacturing methods, tooling, fixturing, and overall production processes

* Collaborate with facility teams on manufacturing capabilities and production schedules; assist with inspection/validation and maintain documentation in accordance with QMS procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing in a shop environment, having experience with machine set-up, programming, tooling design, and machine operation

* Experience with steel and alloy steel

* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 6m to 2:30pm

Preferred Skills & Experience:

* Fanuc and Siemens knowledge

* Mastercam experience
