As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned public facilities, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
