Common diagnoses include lymphoma, sarcoma, and a variety of solid-tumor cancers. This unit specializes in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, management of treatment-related side effects, end-of-life care, and care of cancer-related complications such as pain, immunosuppression, electrolyte imbalances, and organ dysfunction. Specialized equipment includes chemotherapy administration supplies and a carbon-filtered chemotherapy spill PAPR.
