CNC Brake Press Operator/Programmer

Location: Catoosa, OK
Shift: Night Shift
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential

Position Summary

HireCall is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating brake press equipment to form sheet metal components while maintaining high-quality standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional brake presses

• Form sheet metal parts to meet precise specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and bills of material

• Perform quality inspections using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and protractors

• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, and rework

• Ensure all parts meet dimensional and cosmetic requirements

• Communicate any quality or production issues to supervisors promptly

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Assist with document updates and process improvements as needed

• Perform additional fabrication tasks and duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CNC brake presses with minimal supervision

• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills

• Ability to use inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, protractor, etc.)

• Experience with additional fabrication equipment preferred (drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, Strippit, Timesaver)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
