The Instrumentation Project Engineer is responsible for leading the design and fabrication of instrumentation hardware, that provides critical measurements for both military and commercial engines. The designs include major station probes, blade tip clearance probes, optical blade tip timing probes, slip rings, fan blade out packages & telemetry packages. Our hardware is used to collect data during the testing of every engine in the Pratt and Whitney portfolio.Development of Basis of Estimates (BOE) for commercial and government proposals.Provide project management to the Integrated Product Team (IPT).Manage program/task budgets, schedules, and procurement of the designed instrumentation hardware.Performs risks assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed.
