An exciting opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist interested in serving students in a dynamic school-based setting near Woodbridge, VA, just south of Washington, DC. This contract position begins August 3, 2026, and extends through May 26, 2027. Work a part-time, flexible schedule totaling 20 hours per week, with precise hours tailored to your availability—ideal for candidates seeking to complement a clinical role. You’ll primarily serve two middle schools with the potential to add an elementary at a later date, supporting a combined caseload of 25 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Virginia OT license is required
• Experience or interest in working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with both direct and consultative services
• Willingness to complete credentialing requirements, including a VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test, immediately upon hire
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage both evaluation and ongoing student caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to approximately 10 students; provide consultative support to 15 additional students
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective intervention strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring according to district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
• Complete timely evaluations as needed throughout the academic year
