Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with strong neuro experience to join our team. This role involves caring for a high-acuity neuro population, including patients with complex conditions such as strokes, multi-trauma, and post-surgical recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Neuro ICU environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Manage and administer medications, including emergency medications and sedation protocols.
• Conduct patient education and support for families dealing with traumatic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with procedures and maintain all necessary clinical documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Neuro ICU or related specialty.
• Current California RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• LA City Fire Card required within the last 30 days.
