Facility Operator/Laborer

A Facility Operator/Laborer for KT Enterprises will work a 12-hour, rotating schedule of 14 days on, 7 days off, rotating days and nights each 14 day period. They will show up to the processing facility and report to their lead operator for the day and begin daily tasks. These tasks will involve but are not limited to; assisting trucks through offload procedures, conducting routine maintenance and repairs, operating processing equipment, conducting fluid transfers and testing slurry parameters. Career progression is as follows: Laborer-> Facility Operator I -> Facility Operator II -> Facility Operator III -> Lead Operator. Employees with a CDL will have that designation added to their titles (i.e. Facility Operator II / CDL Driver).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment safely while performing processes directed by the Lead Facility Operator.
• Responsible for truck unloading and tanker washouts of supervacs & vac trucks
• Supporting Lead Facility Operator in daily pressure pumping operations.
• Inspect, monitor, and maintain plant equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform general cleaning duties daily.
• Be willing and able to learn the plant processes and associated paperwork.

Education & Experience

Basic

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent education.
• 1+ years of oilfield related experience.
• Knowledge of oilfield practices and procedures a plus.
• Applicants must possess a valid Drivers License.
• A motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel id preferred and general knowledge of safety reporting and JSA's.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job (but are not limited to). The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. The incumbent must wear a respirator when required. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery are required. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to moving electricity, mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
